Today’s prompt is:
Joy in Abba’s Love
Little girl sat in Abba’s lap, as was her morning routine. As she sat there, she began thinking about all Abba had done for her. As she thought about it, her face radiated with a smile that reflected the joy in little girl’s heart.
When she wasn’t sure if she’d ever have a home and a family, Abba had brought her to his home to be a part of his family.
When she wasn’t sure who would take care of her every day, Abba lavished her with kindness and love beyond what she could have ever expected, hoped for or imagined. Abba’s love was tangible to little girl’s heart and it settled her and brought her deep joy and life.
When little girl had moments of doubt about whether Abba was really committed to her or not, he affirmed his commitment to her by adopting her.
Little girl was so filled with joy at all the wonderful things that Abba had done in her life that she couldn’t contain herself. She turned around, beaming with delight and looked right into Abba’s eyes filled with love. “Thank you Abba! I love you so much!” little girl exclaimed and then hugged him tight. He was overjoyed in her joy.
