The pin dropped. SILENCE. Little girl looked around. Slowly she turned her head, looking for Abba. She knew that even in the silence He was close. She knew that even when she needed to be quiet for a while, He was still waiting for her to come crawl up into His lap. She turned her head one way and then the other way. Then she decided to tiptoe on the wood paneled flooring, hoping not to make a noise. One tiny step at a time she moved closer to Abba. He bent down and swooped her up and held her just like every day before. Even in the silence, Abba held her tight. Abba’s embrace breathed life and affirmation to little girl’s heart in a way that the best words from 10,000 others couldn’t even touch.
